FLINTA* stands for women, lesbian, trans*, intersex and non-binary people. This evening offers a space of community and respect for people of all gender identities and expressions.

We invite you to our FLINTA* evenings in the Hamam!  Every Tuesday from 5 pm.

From October 2024, we will be expanding our offer: In addition to Tuesdays, FLINTA* evenings will also take place on Thursdays from 5 pm.

For all treatments, please make an appointment via our website. No reservation is necessary for a visit to the hammam without a treatment.

Please wear a swimming trunks for the treatments on FLINTA* evenings

There are no gender-segregated rooms or regulations in the hammam. Everyone can visit our hamam with their own body and in their preferred clothing.

We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind

What does FLINTA* mean?

FLINTA* stands for: Women, lesbian, trans*, inter* and non-binary or agender people.

What does women mean?

People who identify as female. This includes both cisgender women (people whose gender identity corresponds to the sex assigned at birth) and trans women (people whose gender identity is female but who were assigned a different sex at birth).

What does lesbian mean?

Women who are romantically and/or sexually attracted to other women. This includes cisgender and trans women.

What does trans* mean?
Trans* refers to all people who do not identify with the gender assigned to them at birth.

What does non-binary mean?

Non-binary refers to people who do not identify exclusively as male or female.

What does inter* mean?
Inter* people have physical sex characteristics that cannot be classified as only male or only female.

What does agender mean?

Being agender means not feeling that you belong to any gender.

The asterisk (*) at the end of the acronym is used to include other identities and genders that are not explicitly mentioned and to emphasize the diversity of gender identities and sexual orientations.

Dyadic cis-men are excluded from visiting our hamam, as our hamam is part of the Frauenzentrum Schokoladenfabrik e.V. Dyadic cis-men are men whose gender identity corresponds to the gender they were assigned at birth.

The Women's Centre Schokoladenfabrik e.V. has a common mission statement and is in the process of opening up. The situation in the hamam is also explained there: The opening of the hamam is taking place gradually.At other opening hours, a non-discriminatory environment for trans*, inter*, non-binary and agender people is not guaranteed.
