On TIN-evening, the Hamam is open to all women and all trans*, inter*, non-binary and agender people.

Dates 2023 - the third Tuesday of each month:
 Tue 17 January | 21 February | 21 March | 18 April etc.

The TIN-evening is indicated during the booking process by means of a pop-up window that requires conscious awareness.

For all treatments, please make an appointment via our website. - No reservation is possible for a visit to the hamam without an application, but it is also not necessary.

There are no gender-segregated rooms or rules in the hamam. All persons can visit our hamam with their respective bodies and in their preferred clothing.

Our hamam offers a protected space to all bathers who agree not to look at, stare at or comment on the bodies and clothing of other visitors. In order for everyone to feel as comfortable and safe as possible, everyone strives to be mindful of their own behaviour and the boundaries of others.

What does TIN mean?

TIN stands for: trans*, inter* and non-binary or agender persons.

What does trans* mean?
Trans* refers to all people who do not identify with the gender assigned to them at birth.

What does inter* mean?
Inter* describes the lived experience of being born with a body that does not conform to the normative ideas of male/man and female/woman.

What does non-binary mean?

Non-binary refers to people who do not identify exclusively as male or female.

What does agender mean?

Being agender means not feeling that you belong to any gender.

Dyadic cis-men are excluded from visiting our hamam because our hamam is part of the Women's Centre Schokoladenfabrik e.V. Dyadic cis-men are those men whose gender identity corresponds to the sex they were assigned at birth.

Our women's centre is in the process of opening up: the opening of the hamam is taking place step by step. As a start, the Hamam has been organising the TIN evening for trans*, inter*, non-binary and agender visitors once a month since March 2022. White and migrant women work in the hamam. 

The Women's Centre Schokoladenfabrik e.V. has a common mission statement and is in the process of opening up. The Hamam has been organising the TIN evening for trans*, inter*, non-binary and agender visitors once a month since March 2022. At other opening hours, a non-discriminatory environment for trans*, inter*, non-binary and agender people is not guaranteed.
