Important information about the booking process of body treatments.

Unfortunately, we are not able to respond to requests for appointments made by e-mail or on the phone. This applies to bookings as well as to rescheduling or cancellations, which can only be made via the link sent in the confirmation email.  Our receptionists cannot be reached by e-mail.

Due to current planning uncertainties (pandemic, lack of staff, energy crisis), we only make short-term appointments for treatments in order to avoid cancellations that may become necessary later.

Once an application has been booked, we look forward to the visit, a separate reservation for the hamam bath is not necessary! No reservation is possible for a visit to the hammam without an application, but it is also not necessary. Hamam visits without treatments are always possible during opening hours. For visits to the hammam without a treatment, we limit admission.

Bookings for treatments are only possible if we can offer free dates. All free appointments are displayed and available for booking.

All applications take place within the paid visit time. By booking a treatment, you are entitled to a visit to the hammam. The entrance fee is regularly due at the beginning of the hammam visit.

All visitors should arrive at the hamam approximately 40 minutes before the start of their first treatment, but not before opening time. When scheduling treatments, we ask you to bear in mind that a visit to the hamam always begins with relaxation, warming up and body cleansing in the hamam. In addition, a massage should not be performed before a Kese (full body peeling), because the massage oil interferes with the peeling.

When choosing a date, please note that special conditions apply on some days. These conditions, e.g. on TIN evening, are pointed out during the booking process with the help of a pop-up window that requires conscious awareness. Therefore, our usual cancellation conditions also apply in relation to special opening times.

When paying with a voucher: An appointment must be booked for the treatments listed on the voucher or included in the desired package.  Our "packages" include payment for admission, which is only due during the visit, and selected treatments.  During the payment process, after confirmation (green button), the appropriate voucher contents are credited separately for each application. The reduced admission price due to the package is only due at check-in.

Cancellation or cancellation of an online booking or rescheduling up to 4 weeks is only possible via the confirmation email, not by phone or email. Partial cancellations or changes to bookings are unfortunately not possible. This also applies to group bookings. In order to enable any cancellations that may become necessary for one person out of several, individual bookings can be made for each person to be on the safe side.

Any appointment booked online for an application can be postponed up to 48 hours before the booked appointment via the confirmation email for up to 4 weeks after the originally booked appointment.

Alternatively, booking at the reception on site is also possible. Here, too, advance payment of the application price is a condition. Cancellation of a box office booking: Bookings paid for at the box office can be postponed or cancelled on a goodwill basis up to 72 hours before the appointment free of charge at reception or by telephone for up to 4 weeks after the originally booked appointment.

After these deadlines, the bookings can no longer be changed and our rules on cancellation for "good cause" apply. This is a legal term, we do not question your reason for cancelling the appointment.

As an alternative to cancellation or rescheduling, any booking may be transferred to another person who may then attend the appointment already booked.

The booking and cancellation conditions are explained in detail in the GTC. We ask that you refrain from enquiring about any special or goodwill arrangements due to personal circumstances. All bookings will be processed automatically. We do not have the capacity to process these requests, but wish all visitors good health and all the best during this difficult time. The income from cancellations at short notice is received by our users who work on a fee basis. No one personally benefits from any profits from the hamam operation, but our non-profit association and the entire Schokofabrik Women's Centre.

We ask that you take our gender policy into consideration. Our women's centre is in the process of opening up. As a start, the Hamam has been organising the TIN evening on every third Tuesday of the month since March 2022, where all women* and trans*, inter*, non-binary and agender visitors* are welcome. During other opening hours, a discrimination-free environment for trans*, inter*, non-binary and agender people is unfortunately not guaranteed.
